towards daily city looks good as well. >> any showers out there? >> well, sort of, yes. >> we have some rain around and the cold air is coming in. i look out 7:10 and the pattern is all the way through christmas. if you get a look, i think kirkwood said 6 inches of snow because it was raining there last week and we have shower activity and any shower activity here should be confined closer to the coast. you can see scattered rain, not a lot but there are breaks in the clouds, orinda back over to berkeley out to the east bay. 580 and 680 split, not a lot, san mateo is reporting 280 and san mateo looks like they are circling the wagons. in the santa cruz mountains up towards sunny veil and temperatures are continuing to drop. watch these lows continue to dip over the next few hours and it is still coming town from the north. and windy as times as low pressure settles to the south of us with 50s on the temperatures. there is not a lot of change for next week. with your weekend always in view increasing clouds and it looks like a colder stronger system comes in late saturday early sunday. >

was blocked on skyline boulevard in daily city early this morning as rescue crews pulled a man from a car that went right over the hillside. the chp got the call about 4:30 this morning after the car went off the road near olympic way and traffic ended up being blocked for about two hours. the man had serious injuries including a possible broken arm. it's not clear yet what caused the car to go over the side of that cliff but it ended up falling two to 300 feet before it finally came to a stop. >>> and in 10 minutes, robert handa is at the scene of a fatal crash near the lake observatory near mount hamilton in the south bay, what he's been able to learn about the victim. >>> police are investigate a string of home and car burglaries in one section of morgan hill. there's been more than two dozen in just the past month in the green leaf area right near highway 101 and east dunne avenue. >> reporter: many of the people who in these homes are in the holiday spirit but there's been a grinch stealing. the thieves took electronics and valuables. several days later her neighbor's truck was hit.

since 2006. this report also estimated over 75,000 daily bike commutes in san francisco. with all of that ridership, the city has only 3,000 bike racks on the sidewalks. it requires better infrastructure, including bicycle parking. the san francisco bike plan was adopted in 2009, a collaboration between board of mta and the planning department. san francisco bike plan is an implementation arm for our general plan and this calls for plentiful and high-quality parking as one ever of its goals. first adopted in 1996 and at that time the requirements were only applied to city-owned and leased buildings. the requirements were expanded on basis to city-owned and privately-owned garages in 1998 and to commercial and industrial uses in 2001 and residential uses in 2005 and hotel uses most recently in 2012. now i'm going to look at how our proposal would update the requirements. this proposal would include several requirements based on two bicycle typing types, class 1 and class 2 class 1 bicycle parking is secured, indoor parking targeted for long-term use usually by residents or employe
